BLOG 3: MY FAVOURITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY

The technology is one of the most important things in our society at actually, at the point that we depend of that almost to live. So, anyone can have a favourite piece of technology, saying this, my favourite one is the laptop. The reason why the laptop is my favourite is because you can do everything with that. You can listen to music, read, do your homework, and most important, play
video games. I got my laptop when I was 14 years old in my birthday, I don´t use it a lot because i prefer to spend my time in other things, but when I´m using it I´m listening music, reading, watching some series or playing OSU!. My life can´t be the same without the laptop, because as I have memory, I was using a computer. But I don´t have a problem without using one for a while.

BLOG 6: FAVOURITE SERIES OR MOVIE

Hey guys, today I´m going to talk about my favourite serie. To be honest, I don´t have a favourite serie or movie, I prefer to watch anime (japanese animation), at the moment, the anime that I´m watching is "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure´s" based in the manga of the same name, created by Hirohiko Araki. This anime tells the story of the Joestar Family, a family whose various members discover they are destined to take down supernatural foes using unique powers that they possess. For example, the first arc "Phantom Blood" is about Jonathan Joestar, where the plot is about vampires and Hamon technique. The second "Battle Tendency" is about Joseph Joestar, his grandson, he fights versus the Pillar Men. Actually, the manga has 8 unique parts, but the anime has 4. I like this serie because there are a lot of characters that you can identify yourself, unique in his story, with a lot of music references like the main villain is a reference of David Bowie. I recommend this serie to everyone who want to watch something new, the destiny of a whole family.

BLOG 7: AN EXPERT ON YOUR FIELD

Hello to everyone, today I'm going to talk about a woman who revolucionated the world of science. Her name is Rosalind Franklin, she was a british chemist, she born in July 25, 1920 and is best known for her role in the discovery of the structure of DNA, and for her pioneering use of X-ray diffraction. Franklin also contributed new insight on the structure of viruses, helping to lay the foundation for the field of structural virology. In January 1951, Franklin began working as a research associate at the King's College London in the biophysics unit, where director John Randall used her expertise and X-ray diffraction technique on DNA fibers. Studying DNA structure with X-ray diffraction, Franklin and her student Raymond Gosling made an amazing discovery: They took pictures of DNA and discovered that there were two forms of it, a dry "A" form and a wet "B" form. One of their X-ray diffraction pictures of the "B" form of DNA, known as Photograph 51, became famous as critical evidence in identifying the structure of DNA. I like her because she discovered something who change the world but the award was receivied by Watson and Crick, so she deserves all the respect of everyone.

BLOG 8: A SUBJECT I ENJOY STUDYING THIS SEMESTER

Hi to everyone, today I'm going to talk about a subject that i enjoy studying Biochemistry this semester. This semester was really hard, Maths and Mechanics are the hardest, but my favorite is Chemistry, so, what is Chemistry? Is the branch of science concerned with the substances of which matter is composed, the investigation of their properties and reactions, and the use of such reactions to form new substances. The classes for me are very easy, our second teacher explained very good, I learned a lot with him. About what we learn in Chemistry I can say nomenclature, electromagnetic spectrum, acid and base reactions and stoichiometry, no one of them are boring for me, I enjoyed all of that. My favourite of all this are the acid-base reactions. I like this subject because the chemistry is the science of life, it includes biology, all the biology mechanisms are explained with chemistry. This was the best subject in marks for me, and I hope that I can be better in this. If you like a subject, keep on that because it can define your future.

BLOG 9: FAVOURITE GENRE/ MUSIC

Hello guys, today I'm going to talk about something we all like. The Music. I love to listen to music, especially alternative rock, bands like Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Rise Against and Linkin Park are my favourites.
My favourite is Red Hot Chilli Peppers, the first time I listen to them was in 2002, my mother was watching MTV in the TV, and there was a Red Hot Chilli Peppers Top 10 Music Videos, the two songs what I remember most are "Californication" and "By The Way". In my opinion, they are unique in their style. John Frusciante is amazing in the guitar, he is a legend. And the voice of Anthony Kiedis is recognizable, and the concerts of them are awesome.

I listen to music in the subway to get a better experience and less boring, when I'm studying maths or chemistry I put music in my laptop too. This year, finally, I watched them in live in "Lollapalooza". That was amazing, probably the best music experience in my short life. Sadly, they don't played "Under the Bridge" in Chile. Casually, at the next day Mac de Marco sang that song.

BLOG 10: EVALUATION OF YOUR BLOGGING EXPERIENCE

My experience blogging was okay, nothing from other world. I think that this is not the best method for measure skills, it could be better doing other things. Anyway, sometimes I liked to write in the blog about anything I like, as my favourite gender of music, band or singer, it was kind of weird that anyone in the classroom can read about your life, and me reading about them too. I think this can help people to learn more words in English, and how to expatiate using Internet.

Also, I feel that my skills in this language are better than last year, this helped me to write and read more in English. Using Internet to check the words that I´m using, and if I´m wrong with a word I search that, but anyone can use Google Translate to write all in Spanish and translate to English, that’s the opposite part of the blogs.

In the future, the blogs can include new thematic to write, like ecology, something important for the world.

Something I would like to write about is “What we think about Chile”, because any person get a different experience and vision about our country. That’s really interesting for me.
